So, I'm having a show in Melbourne.
The party is on the 25th of May at Per Square Metre Gallery. It's 191-193 Johnston Street, Collingwood Vic 3066.
The show runs 22nd to the 28th of May 2007.
It's gonna be a good time.
"Recently some science types discovered a wormhole leading to a parallel universe. Upon entering the wormhole and having a bit of a poke around, said science types discovered that in fact the universe they had traveled to consists of one small studio, and a single inhabitant. That inhabitant is Piggy Pink Skin.
After a brief period of initial excitement, they became frustrated. The creature (who closely resembled the renowned Patrick Doherty of our world) was only able to communicate via primitive drawings made on scraps of canvas, which the science guys were unable to decipher. Eventually they got so mad the wrecked up the joint (Admittedly it was already pretty wrecked up and they were unable to affect any significant increase in disorder) and came back to our universe.
Come and discover the amazing works of Piggy Pink Skin in one of the years most anticipated shows 'Nauseatingly Obnoxious'.
Join us for opening drinks this Monday the 30th of April from 6pm. Exhibition runs until 14th May 2007."
I wrote that. Pretty good huh? The show's gonna be heaps better than the blurb. Can't wait.
So. I made a site. I just used to use the Studio Robot one. That was OK, but this is probably the better thing to do. Anyway, cool, have a look at stuff I did.
This is just a collection of various pictures I've done for no reason in particular.
I just thought I'd upload a few sketches. The proper works probably show up elsewhere in the site.
I made these two pictures for a King Brown exhibition at the Alphabet City in 2007.
